Rim has a distinctive rim design, incorporating essences of both Japanese and European tableware. The wide range of shapes and sizes accommodate diverse dishes. Due to the raised rim, the plates can be used to serve dishes with sauce or juice. The design of bowls are based on traditional Japanese tableware, but the rim adds an elegant touch that reminds you of European tableware. The pieces feature dishes tastefully. A characteristic of Hasami white porcelain is its translucent white color with a slightly blue tint. The earth gray colored items are made from clay containing iron powder, which normally gets thrown aside in the process of making white colored tableware. Not only can we make effective use of resources, but the iron powder in this clay brings out a unique expression on each piece.
